You could get severely ill if you're in 15% to 20% of coronavirus cases

Those figures mean that at this time there are a minimum of 143 people in the U.S. with severe cases of the coronavirus...

RT: CDC Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia

My calculations are based on at least 950 known U.S. cases today, which could be higher tomorrow. Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, wants everyone over 60 or with underlying health conditions to stock up on what you need and stay home until there is some sense of control. Unfortunately, control may never be realized, considering who is in charge of the U.S. coronavirus epidemic.

The head guy, Donald Trump hasn't a clue of what is going on so he put his second in command, Mike Pence, in charge, who royally screwed up an HIV uprising in Indiana when he was governor. And to top it all off, Alex Azar, Health and Human Services Secretary just said he has no idea how many people in the U.S. have been tested for coronavirus. So, in light of this familiar blend of incompetence, the Trump administration just decides to keep the misinformation coming.

Here is Dr. Messonnier's take...
“This virus is capable of spreading easily and sustainably from person to person ... and there’s essentially no immunity against this virus in the population.”
“It’s fair to say that, as the trajectory of the outbreak continues, many people in the United States will at some point in time, either this year or next, be exposed to this virus and there’s a good chance many will become sick.”
Here's the update for coronavirus from Dr. Messonnier...

And here is a frightening fact from CNBC...
"Of the 70,000 cases WHO scientists looked at, only about 2% were in people younger than 19. The odds of developing COVID-19 increase with age, starting at age 60. It’s especially lethal for people over 80."
There are approximately 69 million folks today age 60 and over, and if you remove even a portion of that number from the day-to-day activities they are capable of and used to performing, the economy could take a dive. The eighty-plus crowd is much smaller, but more likely to heed the advice to stay at home in larger numbers due to the potential dire consequences. Think about it, some 80+ have no one to shop for them, and they have to go to the doctor.

Rachel Maddow prompts us on Donald Trump's pathetic incoherence on the coronavirus epidemic...

I don't honestly believe the Trump administration could have prevented the coronavirus from entering the United States, nor probably anyone else for that matter. But what has been clear from the beginning is the incompetence of Donald Trump and his minions. Here's the scenario from The Washington Post...
The coronavirus had already begun to spiral out of control around the world when Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, during routine Senate testimony, made a surprising claim.

“As of today, I can announce that the CDC has begun working with health departments in five cities to use its flu surveillance network to begin testing individuals with flu-like symptoms for the Chinese coronavirus,” Azar said. “This effort will help see whether there is broader spread than we have been able to detect so far.”
Chuck Schumer discusses Donald Trump's coronavirus incompetence...

The Post adds: "But there were two major problems: The cities weren’t ready, and the tests didn’t work." And so the comical parade of Trump administration bunglers has marched forward since then and here is a key fact to confirm its ineptness: there have been only 1,900 tests for coronavirus in the United States compared to 140,000 in So. Korea. And now how the United States did it...
"Azar’s bungled announcement before the Senate Finance Committee on Feb. 13 was just one of many preventable missteps and blunders in the federal government’s handling of the coronavirus crisis — the embodiment of an administration that, for weeks, repeatedly squandered opportunities to manage and prepare for a global epidemic that has killed thousands worldwide and at least 19 (31 as of March 10) so far in the United States."
And there's more according to Dr. Messonnier...
"People with diabetes, heart disease, lung disease and other serious underlying conditions are more likely to develop 'serious outcomes, including death.'”
So, not only do we have a healthcare dilemma caused by the White House maniac, but we also have to worry about an economy that could spiral down soon, thanks to the incompetence of this same idiot. Never, in my lifetime, have we been between these most extreme rocks and hard places. Hello November.

Donald Trump's coronavirus lunacy

Donald Trump continues to spread coronavirus misinformation - See 13 claims from AlterNet already proven pure hogwash...

The propagandist at work
It is bad enough that the coronavirus epidemic is spreading faster than U.S. health officials can control, but add to that the spewed idiocy of the Oval Office lunatic, which simply throws more fuel on the inferno. We know, now, that you cannot shut up this dolt, so his staff and the public now simply ignore his ravings and look for a credible source for information. Like in all other announcements, Trump still maintains there is nothing serious about the situation.

Here are only a few of the White House maniac's gems, then you can go the article because they are all worth reading...for a good laugh...

1. “Hopefully, we’re not going to have to spend so much because we really think we’ve done a great job in keeping it down to a minimum. And again, we’ve had tremendous success — tremendous success — beyond what people would have thought.”
Reality: "Trump said this when the number of confirmed cases of infection in the United States was around sixty. It’s now over 500 and counting.

2. “We’re rapidly developing a vaccine, and they can speak to you — the professionals can speak to you about that. The vaccine is coming along well.”
Reality: Any potential vaccine will take at least a year to 18 months to become available, and that’s assuming everything goes perfectly in the development.

3. “But we’re very, very ready for this, for anything — whether it’s going to be a breakout of larger proportions or whether or not we’re — you know, we’re at that very low level, and we want to keep it that way.”
Reality: The administration has not been ready for the outbreak, despite knowing about the threat of the virus for months. The United States has been well behind the appropriate pace of testing to understand the scope of the crisis and keep it under control.

Well, you get the idea. READ MORE...

What happened to coronavirus on Tuesday

Coronavirus spikes the news

Nouriel Roubini, given the name "Dr. Doom" for his accurate predictions of the 2008 financial crisis, just called a new one which, hopefully, will spell Donald Trump's doom in November. Roubini says, "the spread of coronavirus will tank the stock market and cost President Donald Trump the 2020 election. He added that the stock market could drop as much as 40% this year, which could very easily point to another recession. The economist commented...
“The Democratic field is poor, but Trump is dead.”
There's more...
“I live in New York City, and people there are hardly going to restaurants, cinemas, or theaters,” he said. “If it comes, we are totally f*cked.”
The stock market will recover; hopefully, Donald Trump won't. Can't be any more blunt than that...READ MORE...

Florida woman returns from Italy with coronavirus symptoms and cannot get verified to be tested. It's due to "refusal of health officials to conduct the necessary tests, according to CBS Miami." Here's her scenario...
“The doctor himself told me that, you know, he thinks that the results of my [preliminary] tests mean that I most likely have the COVID-19, but that the Department of Health did not want to pursue it further,” the woman said. “It was either the Department of Health or the CDC that decided not to further pursue the inquiry. But I was basically told that it is most likely that I have this virus and that I should self-quarantine.”
The hospital, Jackson Memorial, would only respond that they were, “following guidelines for testing established by the CDC and the Florida Department of Health.”  More evidence of Donald Trump interference?

Unbelievable only 1,900 tested for coronavirus in U.S. but 140,000 in So. Korea...

Did the CDC bungle the initial coronavirus tests? Reporters from ProPublica say yes. This is their assessment...
"As the highly infectious coronavirus jumped from China to country after country in January and February, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lost valuable weeks that could have been used to track its possible spread in the United States because it insisted upon devising its own test."
The Centers for Disease Control ignored World Health Organization test guidelines used by other countries and embarked on research that ended in what was a similar test to what WHO had already developed. They distributed the kits...
"But when it was sent to labs across the country in the first week of February, it didn’t work as expected. The CDC test correctly identified COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus. But in all but a handful of state labs, it falsely flagged the presence of the other viruses in harmless samples."
The admission from health officials...
“We’re weeks behind because we had this problem,” said Scott Becker, chief executive officer of the Association of Public Health Laboratories, which represents 100 state and local public laboratories. “We’re usually up-front and center and ready.”
That was before Donald Trump came to the White House.

Did Republicans stall the Coronavirus Bill just to protect the pharmaceutical industry over the welfare of the American people? The short answer is YES! When negotiations stalled on a federal spending package to address the spread of the coronavirus strain known as COVID-19, it was due to a dispute over vaccine pricing. Democrats even proposed free treatment and vaccine, but Republicans wanted to eliminate "fair and reasonable pricing," the federal procurement standard.

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar commented, “We would want to ensure that we work to make it affordable, but we can’t control that price, because we need the private sector to invest. Price controls won’t get us there.” This dufus is talking about the rule of law when the U.S. is facing a potential pandemic in the coronavirus crisis. And it all can be traced back to the incompetence of the Donald Trump administration in handling the dilemma.

The Grand Press ready to unload coronavirus cases in Oakland
Here is the latest on coronavirus from CNN: "Coronavirus is now in 34 states and a cruise ship linked to dozens of cases will soon dock in the US." And there are more cruise ships at sea with potential cases. The Grand Princess docked yesterday in Oakland disembarking 21 people with the disease that Oakland's Mayor and California's Governor say is under control. It was then "learned a California man who traveled on the same ship last month later died of coronavirus."

"At least 565 people in the US have tested positive for coronavirus, including 70 people who were repatriated to the US.," according to CNN. More than 3,500 have died worldwide and at least 105,000 have been infected, with these numbers climbing daily. What's really scary is "Hundreds of passengers have been infected from multiple cruise ships," and, as I indicated earlier, there are similar ships at sea with potential coronavirus infected passengers.

Princess Cruises which owns the Grand Princess and the Diamond Princess, earlier quarantined with the disease in Japan, "said the CDC has given a 'no-sail' order for another ship, the Royal Princess." It seems the cruise line says a crew member who recently served on the Grand Princess transferred to the Royal Princess just over two weeks ago. Princess claims it could not get the crew member tested.

Chris Hayes of MSNBC

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes literally fumed in a recent show, "All In," over Donald Trump’s botched handling of the ongoing coronavirus crisis. One of his major points was how far we have fallen behind in testing with 164 U.S. cases reported by the CDC, more than 500 in the media. U.S. News just released an article that claims, "'Real' U.S. Coronavirus Cases May Have Topped 9,000," a number investigators allege was, "very conservative" in methods to estimate the number.

Hayes added...
“And when the tests do deploy, case numbers in the country will spike. which will freak people out,” Hayes explained. “They shouldn’t be. The whole point is that we do not know how many cases there are. Because — inexplicably! — we have not been testing nearly enough now for at least a week and probably longer."
This is purely my opinion, but I wouldn't put it past Donald Trump being the sole reason behind the fact that test kits haven't been distributed, because he is afraid of the large number of potential coronavirus cases that will be revealed from the findings. Bad for his favorability ratings for the November election. And, perhaps that's where the researchers in the U.S. News piece loosely predicate their findings. Chris Hayes makes several good point worth reading here.

Blockade for coronavirus information continues by Donald Trump

CNN headlines "dissonance" between Donald Trump and CDC on coronavirus

Image result for trump denies coronavirus
Trump/Hannity

But there is no discord when it comes to Trump allies who are willing to stretch the truth, even lie, for T-rump when it comes to the severity of the coronavirus. As an example, wingnut Republican, Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz...
"a top Republican [suck-up] in the House of Representatives, appeared to be mocking the virus when he wore a gas mask to votes on the House floor."
The Oval Office lunatic has complained that some administration people like Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar were too alarmist when conveying information on the disease complaining that "doomsday scenarios and overly pessimistic predictions helped tank markets." Although there should be certain considerations in releasing information, this clearly points out Trump's interest in protecting his favorability ratings for the November election.

Here's CNN's take...
"From its earliest days, Trump has sought to downplay coronavirus' risks and lashed out when those within his administration appeared to be doing otherwise. He told a collective of executives at the World Economic Summit in Davos, Switzerland, in mid-January that it would not pose a major threat to the United States, an attendee told CNN."
The big question remains, when the coronavirus epidemic turns into a pandemic, what will the White House maniac do? There are many, even within the Trump administration, who believe he doesn't have the skills or brains to handle it. Then what?,,,READ MORE...

Republican CPAC member of American Conservative Union has the virus

Now, that's novel...Coronavirus stricken person a member of GOP CPAC, the party that denies the disease'''

See the source image
Matt Schlapp
This person was exposed to the virus before attending the American Conservative Union (ACU) convention, This person was tested as positive for COVID-19 in a New Jersey hospital; the convention was held in Maryland. But the patient remains quarantined in the New Jersey hospital. Did the person know he or she had been exposed? It all sounds very suspicious but everything Republicans do today is suspect. Here is an apparently incorrect ACU statement...
"ACU said that the patient did not make contact with President Trump or Vice President Mike Pence, and never attended the events in the main hall."
However, completely contrary to that...
"Matt Schlapp told the Washington Post he interacted with the patient at the event and that he then shook Trump’s hand on the stage on the last day of the conference."
Like I said before, nothing a Republican says can ever be trusted, except, perhaps, Matt Schlapp!

Trump's self appraisal gets support from his bootlickers

Why coronavirus will go out of control in the United States...

Sean Hannity, one of Fox News' biggest sources of misinformation

The Russians are coming - The Russians are coming...to spread coronavirus propaganda like...
"conspiracy theories — suggesting, for example, that the coronavirus had been created by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation or was the result of a bioweapon."
Not so far-fetched when you consider they helped spread hoaxes in 2016 that the Democrats wanted to "destroy T-rump's presidency." Now Putin's gang is fast at work again, this time on the coronavirus to lay the blame anywhere but at Donald Trump's feet, where it belongs. If you can believe anything from Trump's Cabinet...
"A top State Department official said Thursday that Russia is behind 'swarms of online, false personas' that sought to spread misinformation about coronavirus on social-media sites, stressing the 'entire ecosystem of Russian disinformation is at play.'"
Dumbo Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton is at it again when he went on TV to advance the theory of Chinese bioweapon conspiracy, not backing down when questioned over his remark. Here's the real skinny...
Richard Ebright, a professor of chemical biology at Rutgers University, told the Washington Post, “There’s absolutely nothing in the genome sequence of this virus that indicates the virus was engineered. The possibility this was a deliberately released bioweapon can be firmly excluded.”
The master moron of misinformation speaks on coronavirus...

So back to ground zero where Trump, Pence and the whole lot of misfits and incompetents charge ahead with more cover-up propaganda, rather than pay attention to the crisis at hand. And, that's not good since Fox News' Maria Bartiromo predicts there will be ‘hundreds of thousands’ of US coronavirus cases,' as I reported in yesterday's post. But Salon's Digby Parton cautions...
"If these rumors and lies were started by the Russian government it just proves, once again, that they know their targets. But the truth is that Americans don’t really need their help. The right-wing media is doing a great job of misleading half the country all by themselves."
And Maria Bartiromo is one of the few Fox staff who can be trusted.
Rush Limbaugh

It is beyond frightening that an unbridled GOP can get away with this in modern day America. But this is what it has come down to today and if the American public decides to reelect Donald Trump to a second term. Salon reminded us, "Rush Limbaugh insisted that the coronavirus was just a common cold and it was being 'weaponized' to use against the president." With world-class morons like this in our own country, we don't need any enemies.

And then there is another delusion from Fox News dimwits. They have...
"blamed the homeless population for spreading the disease, despite absolutely no evidence that has happened. This fits with their evident programming directive to demean and degrade the homeless population as often as possible, particularly in states that didn’t vote for Donald Trump."
Now this exceeds the unconscionable when these displaced folks are trying their best to just survive in some cases. And this is the first time I have heard this one, Digby Parton contends that Donald Trump has a "fake reputation," throwing the term back in the face of the blockhead that originated it with "fake news." But here's an unbelievable comment that Trump made to the king of misinformation, Fox News Sean Hannity...
"We have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better, just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work, some of them go to work, but they get better."
Many of the mild cases have experienced some improvement and will continue to do so. But another implication they should go to work is asinine and potentially dangerous for those with more serious conditions. There have been 3,570 coronavirus deaths worldwide, 19 in the U.S. There are a number of factors that affect the immunity to this virus and only the experienced medical community should be giving advice, not some dufus sitting in the Oval Office.

Trump says elderly should fly, no matter coronavirus risk

Donald Trump completely cavalier with elderly health

Image result for donald trump versus cdc
Donald Trump on coronavirus...WTF
The airlines are experiencing slower customer travel since the onset of the coronavirus, so Trump decided to give them a boost and overrode "a recommendation from health officials that elderly people and those who are 'physically fragile' not fly on commercial airplanes." Yeah, just throw the old farts (I'm one) at the disease since they're probably on their last leg anyway. And then regarding the latest problems with the cruise lines...
"Pence reportedly 'narrowed' his focus when he spoke about precautions for certain populations, noting that 'older people with serious health problems' should 'practice common sense and avoid activities including traveling on a cruise line.'"
The keyword here is "serious." The CDC cautions any person "over 60 and those with underlying health problems to strongly consider avoiding activities that involve large crowds." That would certainly include airports and airplanes. It isn't time to panic, but it sure is time to use good judgment, because the immune system of an elderly person is one of the most fragile parts of their overall health issues. Again, I have first-hand knowledge of this...READ MORE...

Robert Reich says Bernie Sanders is electable

Six ways to convert Bernie Sanders skeptics...

Robert Reich, who is an American liberal economist, professor, author, and political commentator, who worked for Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, has six ways he feels will convince Bernie Sanders' skeptics.

1. “America would never elect a socialist. P-l-e-a-s-e. America’s most successful and beloved government programs are social insurance – Social Security and Medicare. A highway is a shared social expenditure, as is the military and public parks and schools. The truth is we have already have socialists." A point that has been made hundreds of times and think about it, the Bern's programs have a majority support in the U.S.

Why is Bernie Sanders electable?...

2. “He’d never beat Trump in the general election. Wrong. The best way for Democrats to defeat Trump’s fake anti-establishment populism is with the real thing, coupled with an agenda of systemic reform. This is what Bernie Sanders offers, and it’s what the polls are reflecting." Biden beats Bernie by over nine points in the primary, understandable, due to recent dropouts and their endorsements for Joe Biden. But Robert Reich is looking at individual ideology more these days, and Sanders' candidacy is becoming more desirable.

3. “But how would he pay for it?" A question asked over and over when it seems no one muses, "Funny that they never ask how we’ll pay for endless wars or bailouts, tax cuts, and subsidies for the top 1 percent." Reich continues, "Bernie’s campaign just released a detailed memo outlining how they plan to pay for his policy ideas." When you consider what we are paying for and the results it will yield, the whole effort is put into perspective.

There are three more: 4. “He couldn’t get any of his ideas implemented because Congress would reject them.” - 5. “He’s too old.” - 6. “He can’t unite the Democratic Party.” I really recommend you read this article by one of the leading liberal political analysts of today, Robert Reich.

Maria Bartiloma expects 100s of 1000s coronavirus cases in U.S.

Reason: Because "disinformation continued to spread on the right-leaning network about the outbreak."

Maria Bartiromo

In other words, the Donald Trump White House, in its efforts to protect the stock market and this idiot's ranking in the polls, leading up to November, is spewing propaganda that downplays the dilemma. Based on our past experience with the lackeys that advise the Oval Office lunatic, Bartiroma's estimate could be right, or even conservative. God, I hate that word. Here is her theory...
“I think you have to expect constant volatility. It’s going to be down 1,000, up 1,000. A lot of back and forth. A lot of volatility,” Bartiromo told Fox News host Bill Hemmer when asked how the coronavirus would impact the stock market. “Why? Because there’s so much nervousness on Wall Street and really throughout the country. We don’t know enough. We have not gotten enough information. The administration tried to get ahead of this last week. You know that. They said we will see more cases.”
Bartiromo has sources that reveal...
"that we’re going to see tens of thousands, ultimately hundreds of thousands of cases in the United States. This is going to happen. That’s why the administration tried to get ahead of that.”
But so far they haven't, and that's the real problem...READ MORE...

Is Donald Trump delaying coronavirus kits circulation to reduce case numbers???

A Northern California Kaiser nurse was unable to get tested for coronavirus before going back to work with her patients. She volunteered to treat a coronavirus patient then here's the scenario...
“As a nurse, I’m very concerned that not enough is being done to stop the spread of the coronavirus. I know because I am currently sick and in quarantine after caring for a patient who tested positive. I’m awaiting ‘permission’ from the federal government to allow for my testing, even after my physician and county health professional ordered it.”
She was confirmed with the symptoms of the virus, then this...
"My doctor ordered the test through the county. The public county officer called me and verified my symptoms and agreed with testing. But the National CDC would not initiate testing. They said they would not test me because if I were wearing the recommended protective equipment, then I wouldn’t have the coronavirus … What a ridiculous and uneducated response from the department that is in charge of our health in this country.”
Yes, where are the kits you promised?
Later they called back and said there weren't enough kits, a responsibility given to Mike Pence heading up the program. The nurse concludes with...
“They claim they prioritize running samples by illness severity and that there are only so many to give out each day. So I have to wait in line to find out the results. This is not the ticket dispenser at the deli counter; it’s a public health emergency! I am a registered nurse, and I need to know if I am positive before going back to caring for patients.”
READ MORE HERE AND HERE...

Here's a follow-up on the delivery of test kits. With 200 cases and 12 deaths in the U.S., the Trump administration is finally promising delivery of several hundred thousand test kits by this weekend. Here's the latest report...
"The test kits from Iowa-based Integrated DNA Technologies are one part of the government’s effort to ramp up testing. But the U.S. has trailed other countries in rolling out tests, because of problems with its test kits and because the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention initially limited the number of eligible people."
My question is, why did the Trump administration, through the CDC, limit those tested rather than just proceeding with the production of coronavirus test kits it is obvious was necessary? Would it have prevented some of the deaths that occurred? We need answers from the White House maniac now!

"NO" to anything Democrat says Moscow Mitch

Moscow Mitch McConnell, political terrorist
He promised it after President Barack Obama was elected, for two terms, and he fulfilled his commitment, almost. We did get Obamacare but little more. This slimeball literally prevented Obama's appointment of federal judges, even blocking "Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland from even getting a hearing." McConnell laughed while talking to Sean Hannity...
"If I’m still the majority leader in the Senate think of me as the Grim Reaper. None of that stuff is going to pass,” McConnell said while speaking to community leaders in Owensboro, Ky." There's more...
I guarantee you that if I’m the last man standing and I’m still the majority leader, it ain’t happening. I can promise you,” McConnell added."
Spoken like a true political terrorist, which is exactly what Moscow Mitch is. If Kentucky re-elects him in November, these voters will rank on a par with Donald Trump's double-digit supporters. Go Amy McGrath.

The White House maniac hasn't a clue on coronavirus...

UPDATE

Coronavirus isn't yet out of hand in the U.S.; although it is spreading throughout the country. "As of March 05, 2020 at 18:17 GMT, there have been 164 confirmed cases and 11 deaths due to coronavirus COVID-19 in the United States." Here's the lineup by state:
  • 27 in Washington State (including 9 deaths and 1 recovered)
  • 24 in California (including 2 recovered)
  • 4 in Illinois (including 2 recovered)
  • 3 in Florida
  • 3 in Oregon
  • 2 in Arizona (including 1 recovered)
  • 2 in Georgia
  • 2 in Massachusetts (including 1 recovered)
  • 2 in New York
  • 2 in Rhode Island
  • 2 in New Hampshire
  • 1 in North Carolina
  • 1 in Texas
  • 1 in Wisconsin (including 1 recovered)
And all this while Donald Trump tries to "minimize" the problem, just to protect the stock market and his chances to win in November. Here's the scenario...
“Trump’s playing down of the California patient at his news conference underscores the administration’s slapdash and often misleading attempts to contain not just the virus, but also potential political damage from the outbreak — which has tanked financial markets, slowed global commerce and killed some 3,000 people worldwide, including the first U.S. death, announced Saturday,” the Washington Post reports.
So much for a president who is looking out for the people...READ MORE...

And this is what number two dumb had to say, "he was merely 'pushing back' at politicisation of the viral outbreak by Trump opponents." Considering number two Trump can't help it since he undoubtedly inherited the double-digit IQ from his father, what is Pence's excuse? Now consider, it is this moron that T-rump has put in charge of the coronavirus program. If it wasn't for the few level heads sparsely interspersed withing this administration, the U. CNN asks how bad will the coronavirus get. This following their headline for the article: "Trump meets a new enemy." The combination of the two is more than frightening, with the implication that Donald Trump is out of his league, again, when it comes to dealing with another crisis, which will impact his favorability rating. The author's meaning, of course, applies to...
"the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus around the world, the resulting stock market plunge and the concern about whether America's political leaders are up to the challenge."

Sort of like what I said but with a different twist. There will be an outbreak says Dr. Nancy Messonnier, of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. and we have already experienced that, as you can see from the illustration, above. What is worse is Dr. Leana Wen, Baltimore's former health commissioner comments...
"the disease will test our government's response and resiliency. How we weather the outbreak also hinges on our trust that the government has our best intentions at heart. We don't yet know if the trajectory of COVID-19 will be mild, moderate, or severe" but it makes sense to prepare for the worst case."
The key here is can we, 'trust that the government has our best intentions at heart?' So far, we haven't been able to count on anything Donald Trump says or does. And he continues to push forward with false facts and completely inaccurate information every time he opens his mouth. The markets reacted with, "the Dow plunging 3,583 points, making it by percentage terms the worst week since October, 2008. Trump's worst nightmare...READ MORE...

Gloomy outlook as public-health experts say Coronavirus may never disappear. Their evaluation is...
"there are only three possible endings to this story: The outbreak could be controlled via public-health interventions and disappear (as SARS did), a vaccine could be developed, or the coronavirus could become a permanent part of the repertoire of human viruses like the seasonal flu."
They contend, "That third option is the most likely, the new virus probably won't ever truly disappear." So what is the Oval Office lunatic's latest move? He blames it on former President Barack Obama, as you can see in the video here. No consideration for the fact that Trump appointed Mike Pence has screwed up testing from the beginning so we don't actually know how many cases are really in the U.S.
