Wingnut new Kentucky Governor will bring state down like Kansas

With an approval rating of 18%, Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has joined the pitiful state he has brought Kansas to. As an example Kansas has a 2015 deficit of $600 million. It was accomplished by drastically cutting taxes, making education one of the biggest losers. Just another example of a dimwit conservative who thinks the answer to everything is making the rich richer with tax cuts.

Well, monkey see, monkey do. In Kentucky where Tea Party candidate, Matt Bevin, was elected Governor in November, and promptly lowered the  Minimum Wage By $3, while revoking Voting Rights For 140,000 Kentuckians. It is yet another case of a wacky TPer going off the deep end pursuing ideology just to satisfy a bunch of double-digit IQs. What has happened to this country that someone who obviously hasn't the slightest idea of what the hell he is doing can be elected to head up a state?

Tea Party support has dropped to its lowest level ever, with only 17% backing the organization. Sorta in the category of John Brownback, also a Tea Party loser. The LA Times did a 2014 article about Brownback that says it all: "How Tea Party tax cuts are turning Kansas into a smoking ruin." It's only a matter of time until Kentucky duplicates the Kansas "success."

Sam Brownback Wants to Abolish State Court System

Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback has now decided to do away with the state court system...if they don't do his bidding. It has something to do with state courts taking away some of the powers of the Kansas Supreme court in connection with 2014 rulings on education. It ruled the state of Kansas failed to provide equity in public education as required by the state constitution. This was a part of Brownback's typical Republicanized budget which has put the state in dire financial straits. If Kansas courts agree with the Gov. they can go on their merry way. If not, their funding is cut.

This guy is almost as crazy as former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, who passed the loose gun laws in her state that Brownback copied recently, posted by me in April.

But Brownback wasn't finished. Just recently the Republican governor indicated he was planning to expand Secretary of State Kris Kobach’s (R) authority “to prosecute voter fraud cases.” Even those state prosecutors have decided not to take to court. Voter fraud is a big GOP issue, which has been proved to be a huge exaggeration by the right, and is actually a cover up for forcing a certain Democratic block from the polls. Kobach's new powers are designed to do just that.

Sam Brownback has shown once again just how pig headed Republicans can be and just how steeped in their stupid ideology they are.

KANSAS DUPLICATES ARIZONA STUPID GUN LAWS

First Kansas Republican Gov. Sam Brownback gutted the state's education system with almost "$45 million in funding for public schools and higher education in his state by March." Now he has just signed a bill into law that "allows Kansas residents over the age of 21 to carry concealed weapons without any permit or training requirements." Do you realize what that means? If I have no criminal record, I can go buy a gun in Kansas that cannot be traced, and walk around the streets with it in my pocket, without the slightest idea of how to use it. In Iowa I could do it if I'm blind. In Arizona I could take it into a bar. ALL LEGAL. Is anyone ever going to realize just how farcical these laws are?

NRA RUNNING SCARED OF HILLARY CLINTON

An unnerved National Rifle Assn. opened its 2015 convention in Nashville, TN, yesterday and what was on the agenda? Hillary Clinton bashing by wacky Wayne LaPierre with a generous sprinkling of digs by the GOP Presidential candidates present. The 70,000 attendees, mostly conservative, white, and male, listened to the maniac of munitions rant on why these poor souls in the audience should buy more guns and convince their congressional representative that there should be absolutely no more gun laws that curb guns like assault weapons. Gov. Sam Brownback of Kansas probably received a standing ovation based on his recent law that relinquishes guns to a warm body. I don't know if Hillary has it in her to fight for more reasonable gun laws but I know Elizabeth Warren does.
