From another perspective, Gallup says 89% of Republicans approve of what the Oval Office lunatic is doing, a number that conflicts slightly with AP-NORC, above. The difference could be AP's poll was conducted shortly after the Kirk assassination, Gallup was in July. But here's the clincher and most disturbing part, "Republicans are largely standing behind the president, but are ambivalent about what he has chosen to emphasize."
