Donald Trump Says He Will Be Indicted On Tuesday

THAT'S TODAY...Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has brought the case to this point, now looking at a possible indictment. Trump's statements so far have been based only on what he has seen in the media with no direct contact with Bragg's office. The BBC says...

"This case focuses on alleged hush money paid on Mr Trump's behalf by his lawyer to porn star Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 presidential election."

Trump has urged his supporters to launch mass demonstrations in his support like he did prior to the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol where he shouted in his speech at the Capitol, "We will never give up, we will never concede," and ended with the words: "We fight. We fight like hell and if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore. So let's walk down Pennsylvania Avenue." The riot erupted resulting in injuries and deaths of Capitol police.

Here's the scenario according to Time...

"As part of Bragg’s investigation, Trump could face charges for falsifying business records when he allegedly reimbursed his then-personal attorney Michael Cohen for paying off Daniels. The hush-money deal, allegedly crafted weeks before his presidential win, could also put Trump in jeopardy of violating campaign finance laws."
You have to understand that Donald Trump is up against at least five investigations, covering everything from his possession of classified documents to his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Some have said in the past that the charges brought against him by the Atlanta Atty. Gen. for interference in the 2020 election could have the most impact and provide the best venue for prosecution. Back in Jan., charges were said to be imminent.

Will Donald Trump be indicted on Tuesday?...

Barricades are being erected outside the Manhattan criminal court in anticipation of potential charges against Trump. This is because he called for protests when learning of the indictment, which resulted in the assumptions that it could start another riot like Jan. 6, 2021. But PBS News Hour said, "Trump’s calls for protests fail to gain traction ahead of anticipated indictment"...

"Former President Donald Trump’s calls for protests ahead of his anticipated indictment in New York have generated mostly muted reactions from supporters, with even some of his most ardent loyalists dismissing the idea as a waste of time or a law enforcement trap."

Now Stormy Daniels is entering the fray which Yahoo/News describes as "snarky

tweets about Donald Trump ahead of his possible indictment in New York." Here's an example...

"He probably watches my movies on repeat which may be why he has so many typos. (Slippery fingers from lube and KFC/fast food)."

Here's more...

Trump has denied that he had an affair with Daniels. He has also denied paying her $130,000 to keep quiet about the relationship before the 2016 election; he maintains that the paymentsfunneled through his former fixer turned nemesis, Michael Cohen — were fees for Cohen's legal services.

This reminds me of Al Capone who said, “They can't collect legal taxes from illegal money.” The feds did and put him in prison for tax evasion when Capone was clearly guilty of other major crimes like murder. And in the charges by Bragg, Trump can be tried for falsification of business records in the Stormy Daniels money transfer. But, like Capone, this is only the tip of the iceberg when he should also be tried for his efforts in launching the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection.

It is also clear that Donald Trump's delay in the Covid pandemic accounted for the deaths of hundreds, even thousands of Americans. These are only some of the reasons Trump should be prosecuted, and put in prison. There are more and can be found in my collection of posts on Donald Trump corruption.

Michael Cohen warned us about Donald Trump-He was so right

Michael Cohen

Michael Cohen was Donald Trump's personal lawyer for twelve years, a vice president of the Trump organization, dubbed by many as Trump's "fixer." Perhaps few people knew T-rump better. AlterNet reported Adam Schiff's closing remarks in the Senate impeachment trial...
"stating the obvious: the facts prove that Donald Trump is guilty as charged. We all know it. But the question remains as to whether he should be removed from office. Schiff makes the case that Trump should be removed because he has demonstrated that he will choose his own personal interests over protecting our national interests—which makes him dangerous."
And then he spoke of Michael Cohen's warning...
“the more people that follow Mr. Trump as I did blindly are going to suffer the same consequences that I’m suffering.”
He was in jail, a convicted felon for fraud and perjury. Others followed as he had cautioned. Even though Adam Schiff had done a momentous job of making his impeachment case against the Oval Office lunatic, it was obvious sitting Senate Republicans would do anything possible to protect Trump. AlterNet describes the close...
"Schiff ended on Thursday night by composing “a love letter to democracy and truth” that will go down in history as proof that we refused to become collaborators in the assault against what is right and true."
It is worth your time to read this article and listen to the nine-minute video of Schiff.

PROGRESSIVE STREET...Where Liberals Walk: Donald Trump buddy, Jeffrey Epstein, in jail for child sex trafficking

July 8, 2029

Trump and Epstein with unknown women
The man who sits in the Oval Office today, Donald Trump, has been accused of rape, sexual assault, and sexual harassment, including non-consensual kissing or groping, by at least 22 women since the 1980s. There were three widely reported instances of litigation, and, of course, there was the Access Hollywood tape during which Trump made the statement...
"You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful—I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it, you can do anything ... grab them by the pussy. You can do anything."
Any woman voting for T-rump after hearing that is devoid of any self-respect.

Billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein was arrested Saturday evening on suspicion of trafficking dozens of underage girls as young as 14 in the early 2000s. Here's what Donald Trump had to say about Epstein in a tweet...
“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” - Donald Trump, 2002
You have to read Kat Tenbarge's article in Business Insider to see all the gory details, and they bounce out at you one after the other. Like the foursome at Mar-a-Lago, Trump, Melania, Epstein and his British socialite girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell...
"Politico reported that a woman who claims to have been a part of a sex trafficking ring run by Epstein was recruited directly from Mar-a-Lago in 1999 by Maxwell, where the woman, who was then 15-years-old, worked as a locker room attendant."
The Daily Beast reported that "Epstein trafficked dozens of minors in New York and Florida between 2002 and 2005, according to three unnamed law enforcement sources." The pervert friend of Donald Trump is "already a convicted sex offender, having allegedly molested dozens of underage girls in Florida before signing a 2008 secret plea agreement that allowed him to avoid federal prosecution and jail time." Apparently Epstein has plenty of friends.

And, of course, there was the Stormy Daniels affair, where Trump made a generous payoff to keep her mouth shut during the 2016 election. First he lied about the payment, letting his attorney Michael Cohen take the heat, eventually admitting reimbursing Cohen $130,000.

A lying, conniving madman in the White House with the support of a double-digit gang of followers, the kind who will come out in the rain to hear him babble on about the Continental Army taking back airports in the Revolutionary War. Pathetic!

A pathetic presidential administration based on lies

The culprits Sarah Sanders and Donald Trump
THE DONALD TRUMP ADMINISTRATION has based its entire tenure in the White House on lying. Lying to the public, lying to the media and the Oval Office lunatic even lies to his own aides. The Mueller Report exposed a bunch of these intentional deceptions, the latest of which is T-rump's spokesperson, Sarah Sanders. She is trying to lie herself out of a lie over James Comey...
"Addressing reporters from the White House lectern, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders made a startling claim shortly after President Trump fired FBI Director James B. Comey two years ago. 'I’ve heard from countless members of the FBI that are grateful and thankful for the president’s decision,' she said, refusing to back down when pressed on the issue. 'Between emails, text messages, absolutely,' she insisted."
You don't lie to Congress, nor the feds, as the prosecuted perjurers Michael Flynn and Michael Cohen found out. But Sarah Sanders is the face of Donald Trump, and a very ugly one it is. Not because of her looks but because of how low she is willing to lower herself for the lowlife she works for. The deceit extends into the Trump family when Donald Trump Jr. was told the [Trump Tower] lawyer was working on behalf of the Russian government and would bring damaging information on Hillary Clinton...
Trump Jr. replied, “If it's what you say I love it.”
And this is Los Angeles Times Chris Megerian's take on the whole scenario...
"Pervasive lying is an unsurprising result of having a president whose dishonesty has been a hallmark for years, whether it’s exaggerating the height of his buildings or claiming that President Obama wasn’t born in the United States.

While every White House is accused of dissembling or worse at times, the report makes clear that Trump leads a White House where falsehoods and misrepresentations are common practice."
What is clear is that this country somehow elected an accomplished scam artist. What we must be careful of now is not to do it again in 2020.

If Michael Cohen drops the other shoe, will it be on Trump's head?

Michael Cohen wants to stay out of jail as long as he can, so one can only hope this new information is credible and damning to Donald Trump. Cohen's attorneys Lanny Davis and Michael Monico have contacted Congress alerting them that...
"Cohen has discovered substantial files on a hard drive that might be helpful to investigators."
Cohen not only has to worry about Congress but also the Southern District of New York trying to persuade them to postpone reporting to jail in order to review the files in question. It would appear that Cohen was only recently able to access the information that he proposes to Congress and prosecutors. He claims the new hard drive he found "contains millions of additional files."

New York prosecutors say "that Cohen shouldn't be considered a cooperating witness. Cohen did assist the special counsel's investigation but he...
"repeatedly declined to provide full information about the scope of any additional criminal conduct in which he may have engaged or had knowledge."
He has already been sentenced to three years in prison, but as the noose tightens, who knows what Michael will do, and it can't be good for T-rump.

Wlll Michael Cohen dump Trump to save himself?

The Gang-Trump-Stormy Daniels-Michael Cohen
There is no honor among politicians (my version of the "thieves" aphorism) and I wonder if it is just a matter of time before Michael Cohen decides to jump off the Donald Trump bandwagon and vie for himself. He should make his move soon, if he plans to, before the whole T-rump fiasco begins to spiral down into the depths it was destined to achieve from the beginning. Cohen has recently come, "under investigation in the Southern District of New York for possible campaign-finance violations and bank fraud." A perfect profile for the personal attorney to the President of the United States.

And then there is the Stormy Daniels issue, the porn star who claims to have had a 2006 affair with Trump, denied by same, but then the man recently admitted to the payoff of $130,000. That's a pretty hefty sum for a roll in the hay, even if he is a billionaire. This is all so bizarre, and it could only be allowed to go on this long with the idiots that populate the U.S. Congress. Democrats and Republicans. But wait, all of the above were put there by voters who were either uninformed or mentally incapacitated. I can say that because I didn't vote for any of them.

There's another $150,000 payment Cohen was involved in with Playboy model Karen McDougal, and Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti alleges there are more, saying on MSNBC...
"he has nearly completed reviewing claims from two additional women who said they signed similar, Cohen-negotiated NDAs for affairs they alleged to have had with the president."
You have to understand that all these agreements and payments were devised and signed to prevent these women from revealing that they were having an affair with a married man who was running for President of the United States. But even after the Oval Office lunatic was elected, this made absolutely no difference to his loyal supporters and the rest of the country has apparently said "ho-hum." And that's where the United States is right now, a ho-hum nation.

Trump connection?- You have guaranteed income

Some consider lobbyists the scum of the earth because they often influence legislation in Congress that is very bad for this country. The best example is the National Rifle Assn. and its gun rights laws. Over the years it has been connections that made lobbyists so effective, resulting in the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act of 2007, which failed miserably. Politico found...
Nine years following the enactment of this bill, "352 people who left Congress alive since the law took effect in January 2008, POLITICO found that almost half (47 percent) have joined the influence industry: 84 as registered lobbyists and 80 others as policy advisers, strategic consultants, trade association chiefs, corporate government relations executives, affiliates of agenda-driven research institutes and leaders of political action committees or pressure groups."
But the epitome of connections has been those associations with Donald Trump, following his election. In a USA Today analyses...
"Lobbying firms managed by former campaign aides, fundraisers and others with ties to President Trump and Vice President Pence have collected at least $28 million in federal lobbying fees..."
Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, is an excellent example of what the Trump-buddy relationship can reap. He received more than $2.3 million in payments from corporate clients including $600,000 from AT&T and $1.2 million from Swiss drug firm Novartis. Cohen is now the target of a criminal investigation in New York. Ballard Partners is another large Washington lobbying firm and it claims to have "several well-known Democrats" on its staff. The Oval Office lunatic, as of this writing, has had no comment on lobbying activity.

Scandal is Donald Trump's new middle name

Donald Trump-Stormy Daniels

Scandal forced Richard Nixon out of office, almost got Bill Clinton, but Donald Trump is the enigma of the political century. It started with the Russians, to influence the 2016 election, angled over to paying off porn star, Stormy Daniels, careening next to Michael Cohen's influence peddling. The Oval Office lunatic is either ignoring the uproar, or he really is too stupid to realize the deep shit he is in. Lanny Davis, the former Clinton attorney who now specializes in crisis management said...
"Usually in crisis management, you have a terrible week, and your first rule is to get it all over with. In the case of Trump, he seems to not care."
And the irony of all this is that special prosecutor, Robert Mueller, is not the predator, rather career prosecutors in New York, going after Trump through his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen. USA Today reports that "At least 27 times over the past two weeks, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders and her deputies have referred questions about the controversies to the [personal] lawyers. So, does this mean that with time Trump's ratings will decrease and he will no longer be able to bargain with Congress? That could bring about more chaos in the GOP, which won't bode well for November.
