Donald Trump administration Incompetence reincarnated from the Keystone Kops

Keystone Kops

Remember the Keystone Kops, a group of fictional, humorously incompetent, and bumbling policemen from the 1910 silent slapstick comedies? The big difference between these guys and the Trump gang is that the Keystone Kops created their comedy for the purpose of entertaining us. On the other hand, Donald Trump and his minions can be hilarious with their stupidity, but they are dead serious with their plan to destroy this country. Between Trump and his top honchos, the chaos and confusion in the American government today is completely unprecedented.

For starters, we're at war again, an unconstitutional move by Dufus Rump bypassing the legal way of going through Congress. He did it to satiate his ego and to appease another country's leader who is also out of control, Benjamin Netanyahu. Although the Democrats are voicing their opposition--but some say too little, too late--the jellyfish Republicans in Congress continue to maintain their silence while covertly supporting Trump the whole time. Will it take something like Lyndon B. Johnson's "Daisy" ad to shake the radical right loose?

And, just yesterday in The Daily Beast Donald Trump...

"claimed that the Iran War was “very complete” after reportedly discussing his plans for peace with Vladimir Putin."

Okay, starting in March, Trump and Putin are once again communicating, with the Kremlin describing

Trump...Putin
their relationship as "businesslike, pragmatic and trustworthy". Neither trusts each other, never have, never will. They have been vacillating on Ukraine for over four years, a situation Dufus Rump promised at the beginning of his second term in office, he would end in 24 hours. One might wonder now, will this end up in another TACO incident, 'Trump Always Chickens Out.' Should this happen in the Iran war, not only does the U.S. lose face, we also expose a completely incompetent Trump administration.

On Monday, the White House maniac said...

“I think the war is very complete, pretty much. They have no navy, no communications, they’ve got no Air Force.”

Weijia Jiang, senior White House correspondent for CBS News added,,,
"that the U.S. is ‘very far’ ahead of his initial 4-5 week estimated time frame.”

The Daily Beast likened this comment to the claim...

"of President George W. Bush’s boast of “mission accomplished” on the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln on May 1, 2003, six weeks after he launched the Iraq War. The conflict lasted another eight years before the U.S. finally withdrew in 2011."
As of March 10, 2026, the war involving Iran, the United States, and Israel has escalated into a multi-front conflict spanning several countries in the Middle East. The war has spread and also covers Lebanon, Gulf Countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar), Iraq, Maritime Routes (Strait of Hormuz & Indian Ocean), and Turkey. And has the Trump administration either forgotten, or is it just ignoring the fact that Iran has two very strong allies, Russia and China. Not sure what it will take for these two to step in but when it happens...annihilation and decimation.

And then there is Pete Hegseth, an American Army National Guard veteran, former second-rate Fox News host, who, by the grace of Donald Trump became head of the largest defense system in the world as Sec. Defense. He and Dufus decided the word "Defense" wasn't threatening enough so now they call it Sec. War. Hegseth graduated from Princeton so you might think there is some gray matter. Now wouldn't an educated man know that he is committing murder when he blows up innocent people, killing 157 off the coast of Venezuela. Of course, it was all ordered by Trump.

Yet, during all of Trump's war mayhem, including his continuing adoration of Vladimir Putin...
"The Washington Post reported last week that Russia is providing key intelligence about the location and movements of U.S. assets to its Iranian allies."
Indubitably, is there any way to address this with any kind of reasoning or common sense? To add some clarification to the dilemma, Donald Trump became the oldest U.S. president inaugurated at age 78, with concerns regarding his cognitive health by multiple medical care professionals, political commentators, and observers. Here's an observation from The New York Times...
"Throughout [Donald Trump's"] political career, critics, opponents, and some observers have used terms like 'nuts,' 'crazy,' 'unhinged,' or 'dangerous' to describe his behavior, speeches, and decision-making."

MAGA, the cowardly Republicans of Congress and a host of his minion supporters still think the man is sane, doing a great job, responsible for a good economy and numerous other accolades only a gang of double-digits could dream up. It is simply inexplainable how anyone could be allowed to continue on their job when they were a major fuck-up from day one. I am talking about Kristi Noem, the former Sec. Homeland Security. It is beyond me how Dufus Rump could have hired this imbecile to begin with. It's really obvious, loyalty is sacred to Trump.

And that brings up the Oval Office lunatic's new nomination for Noem's old job at DHS. Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) a strong Trump loyalist, will take over the shambles from a completely incompetent Kristi Noem. Among other drawbacks, Mullin fully supported Dufus Rump's war on Iran. He voted against certifying 2020 election results and jumped on Trump's bandwagon about election fraud. Mullin is taking over a department that is currently shut down, in large part due to Noem's mishandling, including the deaths of two innocent American citizens by ICE.

We could use a round of the Keystone Kops to to get a laugh or two in all this misery.

RFK Jr. wants to send anti-depressant users to "wellness farms"

Brought to you by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Wellness farms
, just another name for concentration camps. And that's where the new Sec. Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., wants to send anyone who takes an anti-depressant. Where the hell did this come from? To the best of my knowledge, there have been no reports of mass deaths from Prozac. The new health lunatic is spending his time, and, taxpayer money, on crap like this when the country has a new significant problem with the outbreaks of measles and bird flu.

Mother Jones covered the anti-depressant thing as far back as July of 2024...
"In a virtual event last week that was billed as a “Latino Town Hall,” presidential candidate and anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. unveiled his plan to overhaul addiction treatment programs. Speaking during a live recording of the Latino Capitalist podcast, Kennedy described opioid, antidepressant, and ADHD “addicts” receiving treatment on tech-free “wellness farms,” where they would spend as much as three or four years growing organic produce."

Then, just recently, RFK Jr. submitted his plan to, " Round up people with mental health conditions in camps." He has completely flummoxed a clueless bunch of Republicans on his intentions for keeping people healthy, and suddenly digressed into the intention of creating his own system of stalags. Of course, in keeping with the ideology of Donald Trump. But I am both surprised and very disappointed there has been no massive outcry from the medical community. They've let the Kennedy outcast take healthcare into a downward spiral.

Here's the scenario from NPR...

New Mexico health officials [recently] confirmed the death of an unvaccinated adult who tested positive for measles. The first death was a school-age child in Gaines County, Texas, last week.

News of a second death comes as infectious disease doctors worry that the federal government's messaging about the outbreak is putting more emphasis on treatments like vitamin A than on vaccination, even as misinformation about some of these treatments is spreading online.

RFK Jr. did reference vaccine as good " for community immunity," but said "good

nutrition is 'a best defense against most chronic and infectious illnesses.'" NPR reports...

"That emphasis on nutrition and vitamin A to treat measles is concerning some infectious disease doctors."
Dr. Amesh Adalja, an infectious disease physician and senior scholar with the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, said...
"Mentions of cod liver oil [by RFK Jr.] and vitamins [are] just distracting people away from what the single message should be, which is to increase the vaccination rate."
RFK Jr. told Fox News' Sean Hannity that the best immunization to measles is to catch it. If you haven't already heard, the latest fad is to have measles parties where you can pass around the highly contagious viral disease, for adults and children. What Kennedy did not tell Hannity is the fact that doctors claim the downside from catching measles is worse than getting a vaccination. The health care imposter didn't mention that...
"measles can be deadly, although rare, with approximately 1 to 3 out of every 1,000 people with measles dying, even with the best care, primarily due to complications like pneumonia or encephalitis."

But why would he even address the above possibility? RFK Jr. is a part of the Trump administration that cut U.S. aid to millions producing the following reaction from Irish Star...

"Experts have warned that Donald Trump’s cuts to USAID could cause over 2.1 million deaths per year over the next three years."

Considering the current objective to eliminate as much money and people from the U.S. Government as Trump and Musk can manage, it is obvious the Republicans just don't care. So why should RFK Jr.???

Donald Trump's new administration of criminals

People who left Trump White
House first admin.
Donald Trump could not have done any better in assembling a gang of criminals for his administration than if he had conducted his recruitment in a prison. To begin with, Trump, himself, has been indicted in four cases, convicted in one and penalized in several civil lawsuits. Political scientists Austin Sarat and Tom Dumm, in a Salon article republished by RawStory, say...

"There is, of course, nothing wrong with giving people second chances after they have paid their debt to society," the pair wrote. "But everyone Trump has nominated or appointed thinks they owe no debt to society. Each of them contends or is portrayed by Trump’s transition team as a victim of a political prosecution or a left-wing smear campaign."
  • First, there is former trade adviser Peter Navarro who will return to the White House after serving a prison sentence for contempt of Congress.
  • And then there is his son-in-law, Jared Kushner's father, Charles Kushner, who will be ambassador to France, despite his own criminal convictions.
  • Although there is no litigation, former Fox News host Pete Hegseth was picked to be defense secretary, in spite of multiple charges of misconduct.
  • Again with no litigation, former Rep. Matt Gaetz had to withdraw as attorney general nominee due to accusations of his sexual trysts with minors.
The authors bring up the competence of the nominees and while Navarro and Gaetz are questionable, and Kushner is most certainly borderline, Pete Hegseth's nomination as
Pete Hegseth

Defense Secretary is beyond ludicrous. There are lots more who are somewhat dubious but don't necessarily carry the baggage of legal problems. Are you ready for this?
  • Marco Rubio does not have the strength to be Secretary of State.
  • Pam Bondi would trash the Attorney General's office with her spoken vendetta of Donald Trump's enemies.
  • There are screams all over the medical community from doctors and scientists that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will destroy medicine as we know it today.
  • And Kristi Noem as the Secretary of homeland security is another one that keeps you rolling in the aisles with laughter.
  • Tulsi Gabbard, as Director of national intelligence, is highly questionable since she doesn't really know if she's on our side or the side of the Russians.
  • Dr. Mehmet Oz has a fascination with Medicare advantage, in lieu of its rival so his nomination as Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services administrator could jeopardize regular Medicare.
  • Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy heading Department of Government Efficiency is a total joke. Two morons for the job and Ronald Reagan couldn't make it work. Donald Trump sure as hell won't be able to.
  • Stephen Miller as Deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security adviser worries me a lot. This man and his ideologies are just plain scary.
  • Kash Patel as FBI director is in the Pam Bondi mode; would rein the department with his rage against Trump enemies.
  • here is one who appears qualified for the job, Susie Wiles, as White House chief of staff. And if she can hold Donald Trump down, she will deserve our applause.
It will be interesting if all, or at least some of these nominees are approved by the Senate, just how long it will take for the axe to fall on the first one.
