Wilson mentions Trump's notion to purchase Greenland adding, “This isn’t madman theory,” Wilson declares in his op-ed. “This is just a mad man.” And so many agree. READ MORE.

"‘He’s empty’: Psychiatrist warns Trump is in a ‘psychotic-like state.’" Now this is so scary that it should start a stampede for the doors of reality for the morons in Congress. Dr. Lance Dodes, a Los Angeles psychiatrist, said, "Donald Trump, because he has a fundamental need to be all-powerful and all loved, can’t stand challenges. And the nature of democracy is that it challenges people." The key here is "Democracy," a word that T-rump destroyed the minute he took over the White House. READ MORE.

Alex Henderson of AlterNet reports, "Donald Trump became the butt of jokes all over the world this week when he offered to purchase Greenland and angrily canceled a visit to Denmark after Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen described the proposal as 'absurd.'” Maggie Haberman and Peter Baker note in a report for the New York Times "stress that to former Trump Administration officials, the president’s erratic behavior is no laughing matter...increasingly worried about his actions — especially with the 2020 election only 15 months away and the U.S. economy possibly going into a recession." "Trump’s fabricated China phone call is ‘a serious escalation of his lying’ which bodes ill for America." It's not like the Oval Office lunatic hasn't been lying since the first day he hit the White House, and on the campaign trail before that. But the media is jumping on the China lie because it had other serious ramifications than the regular untruths. This one seemed to be destined to boost a sagging stock market to prop up T-rump's ratings. The real story is, "Trump’s tariff hikes on Chinese goods in 2018 alone cost consumers $32 billion, threatening jobs and economic activity across the country. It is certainly woeful when an article asks the question, "Are Democrats too stupid to beat Donald Trump?" Is it really stupidity or simply a party that has miserably lost its way and needs an overall revamping? Perhaps some of the old hands like Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are, shall we say, a bit out of touch with the party constituency. Like hanging so firm in the middle when a majority of voters are headed further left.

Bernie Sanders, God love him, started it and we should all be thankful there was someone with the integrity of this man to show us the way. I don't give a damn if you like Socialism or not. We've already got it and it will become even more prominent in the future. So, live with it! What we should be striving for is a country that caters to 100% of the population, not just 1%. Martin Longman of Washington Monthly says...

"the Democratic Party is not currently the default majority party in the country and it is not coming apart at the seams or circling the drain. If anything, the Democrats are about dead-even with the Republicans and have the wind at their backs, as demographic trends (in both youth and ethnicity) heavily favor them to make advances in the near future."

Like it or not, it looks like prosperity for the Democrats. And to confirm this Ted Cruz just commented that Democratic voters would come out in "staggering" numbers in 2020.

Dr. Brandy Lee, the Yale psychiatrist who has said repeatedly that Donald Trump sitting in the White House is a national emergency, recently stated that T-rump is headed for ‘disgrace and downfall.’ Can't remember exactly where but recently heard that the way to get rid of the Oval Office maniac is to keep pushing his buttons until he goes over the edge. His recent meltdown from the Washington Post article about his racist tweets apparently sent him reeling.

Josh Israel talked about Trump...

"Echoing his standard smear of news stories that are unfavorable to him, Trump attacked the story as 'Fake News' with 'phony sources who do not exist,' despite its reliance on on-the-record quotes from key supporters."

Psychology also tells us that when a person begins to repeat a phrase, like "fake news" repeatedly, there is an uncertainty in their actions, which has now replaced confidence. Science is not clear on just how many meltdowns are necessary to blow a gasket, but it would appear that Donald Trump is on the verge.

After Moscow Mitch got what he wanted for big business, he is refusing to give additional help to Americans that got pittance from the first stimulus bill, half of what corporations received.

Two valid reasons for Donald Trump's impeachment

There are two issues that clearly lay solid grounds for Donald Trump's impeachment. Neither has been given much play in the media. The first I blogged on May 8: "Trump would be in jail if he wasn't president?" It reported on the 450 ex-prosecutors who indicated they would prosecute him for obstruction based on the Mueller Report saying they...

"have signed on to a statement asserting special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s findings would have produced obstruction charges against President Trump — if not for the office he holds."

The number of ex-prosecutors today is over 800, almost doubled, but still growing. My thoughts in the above post were...

Although Mueller didn't commit on whether Donald Trump should be charged, "citing a Justice Department legal opinion that sitting presidents cannot be indicted, as well as concerns about the fairness of accusing someone for whom there can be no court proceeding," he pretty much left it up to Congress to decide. But the cowards they are, led by the lowlife Senate head, Mitch McConnell, have done nothing.

Rudy Giulani's ex-assistant was even among the former prosecutors protesting, signing a statement Monday that Trump would have been charged with obstruction saying...

“Each of us believes that the conduct of President Trump described in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report would, in the case of any other person not covered by the Office of Legal Counsel policy against indicting a sitting President, result in multiple felony charges for obstruction of justice.”

These 800 plus ex-prosecutors are so sure about their conviction it gives credibility and comfort to the fact that Donald Trump could very well be prosecuted when he leaves office.

For number two, my post "Renown Yale psychiatrist: Muller Report proves Trump is mentally challenged" makes a case for the fact that Trump is not mentally capable of holding the office of President of the United States. And that is startling when so many support this maniac knowing from his behavior since entering office that T-rump is definitely a wacko.

Yale psychiatrist Bandy X. Lee, a renowned expert on violence and forensic psychiatry says "It is a mental health analysis of the Mueller report "replete with information for a mental health interpretation." Lee says to Raw Story...

"Seldom do we have such voluminous information on a person’s behavior, verified at the level of sworn testimony. Hence, my colleagues and I saw this as a part of our ongoing, primary professional responsibility to protect society and to warn against potential harm to public health, as our ethics and the law require. The report is an attempt to continue educating the public."

Obviously she refers to the Trump administration and Raw story wanted to know what the report said...

"Our report is quite damning. What the special counsel’s report revealed, through consistent and abundant data, was a pervasive and profound pattern of lack of capacity."

"lack of basic comprehension--faulty information processing--lack of sound decision making--behavior that places oneself or others in danger."

You might remember Yale psychiatrist, Dr. Bandy X. Lee, a forensic psychiatrist and an expert on violence at Yale School of Medicine, who published a report back in May proving that Donald Trump is mentally challenged.  Well, she has just topped that research with recent findings arguing...

Everything Dr. Lee comes up with is beyond frightening, with the amount of study involved, and especially with her credentials. She is editor of the New York Times bestseller, “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President." She and her colleagues...

"prepared a mental health analysis of the Mueller report with recommendations. Next week, they will present their analysis at a town hall-style meeting on Capitol Hill as well as unveil five questions they would like to ask Special Counsel Robert Mueller at his testimony the following day."

Alarming video of Dr. Lee documenting the dangers of Donald Trump in the White House...

 However, Dr. Lee feels the testimony by Robert Mueller could be delayed, "blocked, severely limited, or even sabotaged." Not surprising she commented, "given the magnitude of its importance." She had this to say about Mueller...

"Robert Mueller’s response of requiring a subpoena to appear and posing severe time restrictions is consistent with his constraints on stating facts directly. Why didn’t he say more simply, “There were a dozen counts of criminal wrongdoing, but because of department policy, we cannot convict him”? It is a common psychological phenomenon"

She exclaims people around Donald Trump's type are unable to resist giving in to their whims, thus...

"Entire households and entire nations can be vulnerable. This is why it is extremely important to prevent those who show signs of mental pathology from taking over powerful positions and why this is a public health problem."

Dr. Lee says her group has placed a video with the copy of the Mueller Report, but will go into greater detail at their town hall on Capitol Hill on the day before his testimony, on July 16, with details on their web site, dangerouscase.org. I will be looking and so should you.

July 10, 2019: When I see a headline like the following: "Trump’s fake patriotism was sophomoric and insulting — so of course his supporters loved it," it makes me worry about the future of this country. It also cuts to the core of what is wrong with the United States; an uninformed gang of morons is running it with their elective power to put someone like Donald Trump in the White House. And, it looks like pictures of a large crowd at his July 4th speech are valid, even more distressing.

This man, no matter how low his morals or how many times and hour he is caught lying to the public, and his loyal followers, by the way, is still the head of the most powerful country in the world. And for whatever bizarre reason, maybe it is sheer luck, it hasn't yet happened. No, we haven't suffered a major catastrophe caused by this egotistical maniac, but according to Yale Psychiatrist, Brandy Lee, we are getting closer and closer to Trump armageddon.

Salon's Lucian Truscott, in an opinion piece said...

"Donald Trump’s Fourth of July speech was sophomoric. The fly-overs were anemic. The pairs of Bradley fighting vehicles and M1-A2 tanks were practically invisible. Everyone was soaked to the skin. They even played the hoary redneck anthem, 'I’m Proud to Be an American.'”

"But the crowd loved it."

This conflagration of Trump-lovers was kept well away from their idol, with the VIP seats clustered around T-rump, close enough to blow smoke, well, you know where. These are the same VIP seats that, with such little demand, the Trump aides ended up giving the tickets to anyone who would take them. Truscott commented, "The crowd adored the man who delivered his fourth-grade-level history lesson in robotic, singsong cadences..."

Other nations who put on gigantic displays of their clout to impress their people are no doubt marveling over the fact that what Trump did was "the cheapest, lamest, most pathetic display of military might ever put on. It was Trump’s. He was all that mattered." Pathetic. And Salon had a recommendation for the Dems...

"The Democratic candidates for president should get tapes of Trump’s 'Salute to America' and make watching it mandatory within their campaign operations. Trump’s speech sounded like it had been written by the 'creatives' at Hallmark, and that was the point."

Truscott closed with...

"We are not the country we like to think we are. Trump won in 2016. 'Make America Great Again' carried the day for him. His 'basket of deplorables' turned out for him. They can do it again."

And that is a challenge that should convince every Progressive/liberal to make their way to the polls early in 2020.

A recent report by Yale psychiatrist Bandy X. Lee, a renowned expert on violence and forensic psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine, was sent to Jerrold Nadler, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. She is also president of the World Mental Health Coalition and editor of the New York Times bestseller, “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President.”

It is a mental health analysis of the Mueller report "replete with information for a mental health interpretation." Lee says to Raw Story...

"Seldom do we have such voluminous information on a person’s behavior, verified at the level of sworn testimony. Hence, my colleagues and I saw this as a part of our ongoing, primary professional responsibility to protect society and to warn against potential harm to public health, as our ethics and the law require. The report is an attempt to continue educating the public."

Pretty clear we're are talking about the Donald Trump White House and his administration and already this is very scary. Lee says that the voluminous special counsel’s report "could not be more informative about mental capacity, which is what the report addresses. Mental capacity is the ability to make sound, rational, reality-based decisions free of impulsivity, recklessness, paranoia, and false beliefs." It gets scarier. Lee says further...

"A person can have a severe mental illness, for example, but be receiving proper treatment and function perfectly well—the presence of mental illness really says nothing about job performance. On the other hand, someone may not have a mental illness but still be incompetent and lacking in the basic capacities to do a job."

And for those who question no one-on-one between Lee and Trump...

"For a functional exam, a personal interview is not as important as observations by the person’s coworkers and colleagues of one’s actual performance, and this is why the special counsel’s report is so valuable." 

Raw story wanted to know what the report said...

"Our report is quite damning. What the special counsel’s report revealed, through consistent and abundant data, was a pervasive and profound pattern of lack of capacity."

 Folks, Dr. Lee is talking about the man who sits in the Oval Office, in control of the most powerful country in the world. Just scarier and scarier. More snippets of her findings...

What is clear here is the fact that Donald Trump may not be competent to serve as President of the United States and should be required to have a complete psychiatric examination at once.

Ivanka Trump for president? You have to be f***ing kidding. Although she might not be any worse than Mike Pence, which I can't even remotely fathom him being electable, you have to consider the warped mind of Donald Trump and his claim on the Oval Office throne. There has been talk that he wouldn't vacate the White House if he lost in 2020, and he has even mentioned running a "forever" campaign for the presidency. Ivanka could be his ace in the hole.

Who is to blame for Democrats' poor performance in Tuesday's election?

 

Here's a quote from an AlterNet article by Meaghan Ellis...

"The strong voter turnout for Trump, which stands at more than 68 million voters as of Thursday, October 5, proves that bigotry, white supremacy, and racial division are still alive and well in the United States."

Even with all three of the above Donald Trump abhorrent idiosyncrasies prevalent both in the 2020 campaign and in the last four years of the White House maniac's administration, the Democrats could not convince Trump supporters to get rid of this cancer that is destroying our country. Don't know if it was the ineptitude of the Democratic Party or the fact that this 68 million is mentally retarded and/or misinformed. Probably a combination.

Owen Jones from the Guardian says this...

"How could the electoral circumstances for the US Democrats have been more favourable? A quarter of a million Americans have died in a pandemic bungled by the incumbent president, and at least 6 million have consequently been driven into poverty."

Remember Brandy Lee, the Yale psychiatrist, who has been telling us for most of Trump's time in office that he is completely unfit for the presidency, and definitely mentally unstable? She now adds that, "Trump’s mental illness infected 48% of the electorate," the percentage that voted for him. Yet, somehow, the Dems were unable to turn all these horrendous flaws into the kind of message that says, 'You must get rid of this loser.' Which should have brought a landslide, but did not.

As a Progressive I am worried, very concerned, over the run-down state that liberals are in. Look at what happened in the House and Senate. We had a chance at Bernie Sanders, and I again wonder what would be our state of affairs today if the Bern had won in 2016, again in 2020???
