Who wins the battle opening country? Govs or Trump

There are twenty-four Democratic governors in the U.S. I would place my trust in far more than depending on Donald Trump to act in opening this country from the coronavirus shutdown...

Donald Trump

Democrats like Washington's Jay Inslee of Washington, Andrew Cuomo of New York. Then you have those deadbeat Republican governors like Arizona's Doug Ducey and Florida's Ron DeSantis, who grovel in Trump's demands that determine every move they make. The entire right is scared to death of the Oval Office lunatic, therefore, no confidence can be placed in their decisions. But the Democrats, while screwed up in Congress, seem competent at the state level.

Here's the Washington Post's evaluation of how a Republican government is handling the dilemma...
“It’s mind-boggling, actually, the degree of disorganization,” said Tom Frieden, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director. The federal government has already squandered February and March, he noted, committing “epic failures” on testing kits, ventilator supply, protective equipment for health workers and contradictory public health communication. The next failure is already on its way, Frieden said, because “we’re not doing the things we need to be doing in April.”
Watch Trump wiggle and squirm for the truth that eludes him...

Meanwhile, the White House maniac, feeling deprived of his tyrannical powers, has begun to spew a new litany of rules that could only be contrived in a mentally handicapped mind like his...
"President Donald Trump insisted Monday that he alone could declare the United States reopen for business, continuing a contradictory line of messaging toward the nation’s governors as they have taken on greater responsibilities to combat the coronavirus pandemic in the face of federal inaction."
“For the purpose of creating conflict and confusion, some in the Fake News Media are saying that it is the Governors decision to open up the states, not that of the President of the United States & the Federal Government. Let it be fully understood that this is incorrect,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
Governors to reopen economy
And there was more...
“It is the decision of the President, and for many good reasons. With that being said, the Administration and I are working closely with the Governors, and this will continue,” he added in another tweet, previewing that a “decision by me, in conjunction with the Governors and input from others, will be made shortly!”
He and his administration aren't doing crap, and this is obvious from where we stand today as the country with the highest number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in the entire world. Donald Trump was told of the threat of the disease by Health Secretary Alex Azar on January 18, of this year. He was dismissed by the top idiot as an alarmist. And this is why our country is in such a chaotic condition because Trump won't listen to anyone.

But he will announce "his second coronavirus task force" after the first obviously didn't work. In the meantime, legal scholars, the experts this dufus won't listen to, say "the federal government lacks the power to directly order states to reopen their economies." The Democratic governors most likely have had this advice from their legal team, thus, will act as a group and get the job done while the moron muddles in the disorder of his anarchy.

Former president Barack Obama warned of pandemic back in 2014...

Here's our former president's take...
On Wednesday, former president Barack Obama weighed in, tweeting, “Social distancing bends the curve and relieves some pressure … But in order to shift off current policies, the key will be a robust system of testing and monitoring — something we have yet to put in place nationwide.”
This is one of those 'can you believe it' questions; having known the pandemic was coming since January 18, we still don't have adequate testing for coronavirus in the most technologically advanced country in the world. Almost three months have passed by the end of March only 320,000 tests were done and in comparison to So. Korea, something Trump regularly refers to, the U.S. has...
"conducted far fewer tests per capita given the US population is more than six times larger than South Korea's."
The question is what's going on in the Trump administration?...
"A Nature.com investigation of several university labs certified to test for the virus finds that they have been held up by regulatory, logistic and administrative obstacles, and stymied by the fragmented US health-care system."
Anywhere you go looking for reasons or ant logic to why the COVID-19 situation is so screwed up in the United States, the arrow always points to Donald Trump in the White House and his also incompetent minions who continue to adore this blockhead. Pathetic!

Donald Trump new excuse for failure...China did it

Trump latest alibi for the coronavirus uncontrolled spread in the United States names China as the culprit, once again taking no responsibility for his part in delaying response to the virus in the beginning, causing its current unchecked surge...

Image result for trump blames coronavirus on xi jinping
Trump - Xi Jinping
Here's the Washington Post headline: "U.S. officials crafting retaliatory actions against China over coronavirus as President Trump fumes." I wrote a post just yesterday, "TRUMP LATEST: China's Xi COVID-19 results excel Trump's significantly," outlining the parade of events, starting with Wuhan's outbreak and subsequent notification on January 3, of Robert Redfield, CDC Director. China has first case in November of 2019.

But the Oval Office lunatic wants to punish China's President Xi, might even hit him up for financial compensation, simply because this idiot waited over two months to make a move on coronavirus in the U.S. But first he said it was a hoax, then blamed the whole thing on Democrats. The dolt finally came to his senses in mid-March, and since then has screwed up every move he has made, compounded by the stupidity of his aides.

Donald Trump rails off on Xo Jinping and China...

The Washington Post says...
"The move could splinter already strained relations between the two superpowers at a perilous moment for the global economy.
Now, this may not seem important to some, but we are talking the two top powers of the world fighting each other over 'who dunnit' when there is a pandemic of colossal proportions going on that has killed over 233,000 people worldwide. Between one highly intelligent man who so far has played the gentleman, and the White House maniac who plays his regular roll of political clown. It makes our country look...clownish.

Trump complains about China giving the United States a heads-up on their status, but it doesn't seem mid-November to the first of January is that long when you understand what a shock this must have been attempting to identify a new virus that probably had to be analyzed before anyone could a statement. No, folks, no one in the Trump administration, including the head moron, really thinks, deep down, that China dropped the ball.

This is attempted get-even time with Xi because of the trade deals that didn't go right, and according to RawStory, "Trump obsessed with ‘settling scores’ even as coronavirus kills thousands of Americans every day: report." There is even more talk from the Don of misinformation that the disease came from a lab in China...again. It is said there is a battle between Trump's economic advisers and the national security team for retaliation...
“Punishing China is definitely where the president’s head is at right now,” one senior adviser said.
The T-rump minions think this will arouse their double-digit supporters and they are probably right. It is much easier to hate someone like Xi Jinping and his China than working on something to stop the COVID-19 pandemic. The White House and GOP lawmakers are fixated on China's coronavirus problems, they think their inability to contain it. They claim, " Chinese officials concealed key information and refused to cooperate with international health organizations."

Trump supporter, coronavirus a "nothing burger"...

As a point of reference, in a recent report from WORLDOMETER, China has had only 4 recent cases, total cases 82,862, no recent deaths, total deaths 4,633; The USA, total cases 1,088,415, new cases 24,221, total deaths 63,535, recent deaths 1,880. China's population, 1,408,526,449, the United states, 331,002,651. Pretty solid proof that Donald Trump is doing a piss-poor job of containing coronavirus, compared to China and the rest of the world.

Trump latest remarks...
"On Monday, Trump suggested at a White House news conference that the United States will seek hundreds of billions of dollars in damages from China. The president also said he is considering additional measures to punish China, but did not specify what they are."
Trump message of retaliatory action...
“We can do something much easier than that,” Trump said in response to a question about demanding financial compensation from Beijing. “We have ways of doing things a lot easier than that.”
Yet no explanation of what and once again this three-ring circus plays out in the media of the world and the United States has pie all over its face. Just another day at the White House.

There's more in the Washing Post, a good read...

Is Donald Trump Cabinet planning a coup?

August 21, 2019: PROGRESSIVE STREET NEWS BYTES...Where Liberals Walk

Donald Trump's lies finally catching up with him

LYING: The epitome of Donald Trump
Although Anthony Scaramucci doesn't name names in this particular article, he says "that some current administration officials will soon turn on Trump and work against his 2020 re-election." Scary Tony adds...
“It’s a little bit like a cycle,” Scaramucci said. “I mean, if you can get the cycle started, some people that are fear-based due to the president’s bullying or the nonsense on his Twitter feed or how he handles himself personally, they’re intimidated by him.”
It has been obvious how some have been irked at the Oval Office lunatic, like former Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson who once called Trump a "fucking moron." Scaramucci concluded with...
“What we saw over the week is the balloon is coming out of the president’s bombast,” he added. “The balloon is coming out of his rhetoric.”
And then Scaramucci came out with, "These 6 former Trump officials are the most likely to throw him under the bus in 2020," Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Former Defense Secretary James Mattis, Former chief of staff John Kelly, Former DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, and Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Additional comments...
"The president has not been shy about expressing his disdain for Tillerson ever since he left his position, and he sent out an angry tweet calling his former top diplomat 'dumb as a rock.'”
"In his resignation letter, Mattis took thinly veiled shots at the president’s notorious disdain for America’s system of international alliances."
"He [John Kelly] was caught on camera twice shoving his face into his hand when the president did something embarrassing, such as when he referred to North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un as 'Rocket Man' in front of the United Nations."
Fact checking for Donald Trump lies has become a major business...

There's more you can read in the AlterNet article. And in the 'I can't believe Trump told that lie" column, he made the claim that Google threw over 2.6 million votes to Hillary Clinton. "On Monday’s edition of CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time,” fact-checker Daniel Dale told host Chris Cuomo that not only is President Donald Trump’s claim a lie, the professor he’s citing, Robert Epstein, has repudiated Trump’s interpretation of it."

Now, the clincher is that "Trump is in panic mode because his ability to lie to his fans may soon face its greatest test," and he may fail miserably. Here's how...
"Economic reports increasingly warn of a coming recession, likely to be exacerbated by the pointless trade war with China, which was largely launched as an ego boost for Trump. So Trump and his allies are clinging to their favorite strategy — lying their heads off — in order to convince his followers that the U.S. economy is going great."
A documentary of Donald Trump lies...

Here's more from Maggie Haberman of the New York Times...
"Trump’s main response to reports of a possibly looming recession is to go into full conspiracy-theory mode, accusing his own hand-picked chair of the Federal Reserve and the news media of conspiring against his re-election chances."
But with the American public finally getting smart about the White House maniac, "Trump’s presidency is backfiring as the public grows more and more opposed to his views." While still wildly popular among his hardcore far-right base, it's not representative of the United States on the whole. Although in agreement with T-rump's views in the past, “There’s just one catch: the public is turning against Trump’s views.” This because of at least one major factor...
a Reuters poll found that Americans “were more likely to empathize with African-Americans” — including “whites without a college degree,” who played an important role in Trump’s victory over Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Now on to 2020.

No one wants to work for Donald Trump

July 20, 2019: WEEKEND News Bytes

Donald Trump's revolving door

AG Wm. Barr the dolting pawn of Donald Trump

Paul Rosenberg of Salon says Republican lies and hypocrisy have hit an all-time high, and uses Attorney General William Barr’s perpetual suck-up to Donald Trump to illustrate his point. "Barr is Trump’s enabler in undermining the rule of law — first in the census case, then in the challenge to the Affordable Care Act." From University of Michigan law professor Nicholas Bagley...
“In both, Barr directed his lawyers to make bad-faith arguments, just because Trump said so. That’s a blow to the integrity of the Justice Department and a threat to the rule of law.”
Nothing new for Trump, and Republicans have been playing this game for years dating back to the Supreme Court decision re. Al Gore/Geo. W. Bush 2,000 election, and the "the long history of lying during Supreme Court confirmations, with Brett Kavanaugh’s example only the most recent." Donald Trump didn't start it, he simply perpetuated the GOP way with his inherent swindling talents.

Donald Trump created biggest White House revolving door ever

"President Trump’s 'A Team' turnover is 74% as of July 15, 2019," reports Brookings Institute. That doesn't include the Cabinet, which is also high in dropouts. Any foreign power would look at this and say, with that kind of governing, the U.S. is a great target. They haven't, and they won't because there are enough level headed people in Washington--mostly Democrats--to prevent this. Let me urge you to look at this fascinating Brookings study.

And Fortune magazine asks, "Who’s Next to Go?" in speculation over the Trump administration's soaring turnover. The author of this article, Kathryn Dunn Tenpas says, “The pace is record-setting. It’s off the charts.” I doubt seriously if even T-rump's misinformed loyalists can keep up with the turnaround. Many of the exits are due to pressure, as was the Eric Acosta incident. Some of those who have left include...
"Health and Human Services secretary Tom Price, secretary of state Rex Tillerson, secretary of Veteran Affairs David Shulkin, attorney general Jeff Sessions, secretary of defense Jim Mattis, and secretary of the interior Ryan Zinke."
There are also the acting Cabinet members, which Trump favors because he doesn't have get Congress' approval. Dunn Tenpas says this all has caused a lot of instability in Donald Trump's administration, which is certainly obvious to the world and the people of the United States who care about their country.

Even GOP says Trump not exonerated by Mueller Report

What can I say...and I didn't
It was Nebraska Republican Sen. Ben Sasse who best explained why the Mueller Report does not exonerate Donald Trump's antics. During the Barr hearing in the Senate, and following a long haul of frustration with Trump's bizarre behavior, Sasse made his point using Paul Manafort...
"Paul Manafort is hired by Deripaska for things related to the Ukraine. … He is on the payroll of a Russian oligarch that has interests completely disaligned with the American people. He is on his payroll. Is it permissible for [an American campaign official] to be paid by someone who is basically an enemy of the United States?"
Manafort was Donald Trump's campaign manager after Trump fired Corey Lewandowski in the 2016 election. The former will serve 47 months in prison "for financial fraud convictions obtained by special counsel Robert Mueller as he investigated Manafort's alleged collusion with the Russian government in 2016." Manafort is reported to have given up plenty in Robert Mueller's investigation that clearly points to obstruction of justice by Donald Trump.

Then Delaware's Democratic Sen. Chris Coons chimed in...
"he targeted Barr with a question based on the June 9, 2016, Trump Tower meeting attended by three top Trump advisers and several Russians. The Russians had high-level government and intelligence connections and had conveyed through an intermediary that they were interested in providing the Trump campaign incriminating material about Clinton in the context of 'Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.'”
Mueller didn't pursue this due to the fact it would be difficult to prove, which Barr has picked up on in his all-out defense of Donald Trump. This has apparently given T-rump the will to defy Democrats at every turn in their investigation of the Oval Office lunatic, primarily in the release of his personal taxes. Apparently, Barr has found more confidence through his boss and has completely refused to appear before Democrats in the House.

Trump ran as the CEO president. But any corporate board would have fired him without ceremony or hesitation, reported The Hill. It also said...
"A corporate board would never tolerate even a fraction of Trump’s 1,400 conflicts of interests; A corporate CEO wouldn’t survive even one serious investigation of wrongdoing; A board would not keep a CEO who publicly lied as much as Trump; Any corporate board would be alarmed by the turnover in Trump’s administration, the number of unfilled leadership positions and temporary/acting replacements."
And if it weren't for the lowlife Senate head, Mitch McConnell, a "federal board of directors" could have done away with Donald Trump a long time ago.

Massive blue wave coming for November...???

How long have the Progressives sat on their butts when it was time to come out and vote to support their party? At least as far back as Barack Obama, and then for several years before. That's why we are currently saddled with a GOP Senate, and having just won back the House. I call them apathetics, those who hug the couch when it comes time to do their duty. But they may be waking up. In a recent extensive poll by Reuters they found...
"that interest in voting in 2020 is surging in urban areas dominated by Democrats faster than in Trump-supporting rural areas."
There's more in this AlterNet article...
"voters’ interest in going to the polls appears to be growing faster among those who disapprove of Trump than among those who approve of him. The advantage in urban political engagement extends deep into the most competitive battleground states that Trump won by razor-thin margins four years ago.”
Would anyone be surprised? Probably not, but it's comforting to see it in print with solid facts to back it up. The left is finally completely fed up with Donald Trump and his corrupt administration with the urban areas coming alive with Progressives committing all across the country. Nicholas Valentino, a political scientist at the University of Michigan commented...
“Democrats are very angry. Many see this administration as an existential threat to the constitutional order. They’re standing ready to participate to try to change the course of this country.”
One of the biggest issues for the November election could be health care, more likely than not, and although the Oval Office lunatic trumpets his support for this issue...
"the Trump Administration is very much on board with a Republican lawsuit that seeks to abolish the protections of the Affordable Care Act of 2010, a.k.a. Obamacare — including coverage of preexisting conditions — and rip health insurance away from millions of Americans by arguing that the law is unconstitutional."
According to journalist Daniel McGraw, this could be a major obstacle for T-rump who needs the rust belt this November, and where polls are reporting his loss of support in this region. Without this area, the White House maniac is probably dead meat. Bill Kristol, a very right conservative, and Charlie Sykes founded the Bulwark in late 2018, a "passionately anti-Trump" organization. But they are in favor of Obamacare. Go figure.

The RawStory article McGraw cites another study, the Baldwin Wallace University’s Great Lakes Poll in rust states Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin, with this comment...
“One question in the poll was especially relevant to health care, and unlike the questions in most previous national polls, phrased very directly: ‘Do you approve or disapprove of the way Donald Trump is handling health care policy?’ The results show Trump and the Republicans have a big problem in these key states.”
Many of the pundits aren't giving Bernie Sanders much of a chance against Donald Trump, although he holds a commanding lead in the Democratic Primary. My gut tells me with a 70% U.S. approval rate for Medicare for All, there are more supporters for the Bern than we think.

Is there anyone who didn't think the Supreme Court conservatives weren't biased toward Donald Trump? I think not...

Justice Sonia Sotomayor

We knew we had a one-sided SCOTUS, to the right, of course, some recent decisions pointing to what we might expect in the future. The recent immigrants wealth test apparently did it for Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Here's the scenario...
"On Friday evening, by a 5–4 vote, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration’s wealth test for immigrants to take effect in Illinois. All four liberal justices dissented from the order, which changes relatively little: Thanks to the conservative justices’ intervention in January, the wealth test was poised to take effect in 49 states, and Friday’s vote lets the government apply it in the last state left. What’s most remarkable about the decision is Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s withering dissent, which calls out—with startling candor—a distressing pattern: The court’s Republican appointees have a clear bias toward the Trump administration."
Here was the article's headline...
"Sonia Sotomayor Just Accused the Supreme Court’s Conservatives of Bias Toward the Trump Administration"
Donald Trump could still do more damage with additional conservative appointees, thus, even more reason to dump the White House maniac.

Sci-Fi used to normalize Trump admin.

Geo. Orwell-Donald Trump
Sci-Fi publishers are doing their bit to fight the Donald Trump administration by encouraging manuscripts from their freelance writers, "to try to imagine some new futures that might help us figure out how to get back to normal from here.” Anthologies like Resist: Tales From a Future Worth Fighting Against and If This Goes On. Very appropriate titles when one considers the road to destruction Donald Trump has taken this country on since his administration took office.

There are also a number of books about Trump that aren't science fiction, but still read like it in some cases. There's Fire and Fury, Fear, Unhinged, A Higher Loyalty and The Trump White House, to name only a few. I have read most of them and can attest to the fact that, in some cases, it feels clearly like you are in another world. When The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy is written for 2020, the Donald Trump administration is certain to be the lead story.

A Very Stable Genius Trump...NOT

Coming from Washington Post writers, Philip Rucker and Carol Leonnig, "A Very Stable Genius" is the continuing brilliance of those on the inside to portray a mentally challenged Donald Trump...

A Very Stable Genius: Donald J. Trump's Testing of America by [Philip Rucker, Carol Leonnig]

I am two-thirds way through "A Very Stable Genius" and am amazed at the way these two reporters have organized the information on Donald Trump to the extent you actually feel you are in the room where it is happening. It is hard to select something to quote but in consideration of Trump's totalitarian governing approach, there was a part in the book where he gives kudos to Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey's president.

A senior aide describes the two's speakerphone conversations as "un-fucking-believable, like hearing Hitler at a Nuremberg rally." Says Erdogan's voice was chilling, like Satan's, but Trump has long admired the man for his ruthless rule in Turkey and the ease with which he dispatched political rivals. This is unadulterated mental sickness at its worst, when you are talking about the person who rules the freest country in the world.

Best friends, Erdogan and Trump
Jennifer Rubin's Washington Post opinion piece recently headlined, "‘Stable genius’ or dangerous ignoramus?" is a good question but one that has been answered repeatedly over the last few months, with each time Donald Trump opens his mouth. She quotes from one of his recent press conferences...
“And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out, in a minute. Is there a way we can do something like that? By injection, inside, or almost a cleaning, because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. You’re going to have to use medical doctors, right? But it sounds interesting to me.”
This is the leader of the world's most advanced nation in such a confused state that what he is recommending could immediately kill thousands of people if they took his advice. But it was right after this at a later press conference where the disinfectant thing was brutally criticized, Donald Trump actually showed signs of doubt, both in what he was saying and also from the harsh criticism he received. He quietly left the room without taking questions.

I'm only a puttering psychologist, but are we seeing the first breaking point in the Trump facade, the latest of many that have come down the line, and are sure to eventually push Trump over the edge. A tragic way to have to get rid of a president but the only way when you have the head of the U.S. Senate, lowlife Moscow Mitch McConnell, constantly propping him up. Cody Fenwick, writing in AlterNet said...
"Of course, if Trump does genuinely feel shame, it’s not likely to last long. He’ll likely revert to his vastly overconfident self in short order."
Trump coming off the spool at a press conference...WATCH!

We'll be watching for more signs. After over three years, Donald Trump still does not know how to do his job, according to another piece by Cody Fenwick, this time in RawStory. The writer believes the Oval Office lunatic has contrived this reality show in his head, much like his former show, "The Apprentice," where he interviewed and fired people. In today's show, here's how Fenwick sees it...
"He likely doesn’t have the ability to coordinate all the relevant actors, tap into the expertise of the administration, and craft a long-term strategy for fighting the pandemic and saving as much of the economy as possible. But regardless of whether he could do what is needed, it’s clear that he’s not interested in this hard work."
Trump just cannot shed the carnival barker personality that so often shows him for the idiot he is. Like this...
“It’s just a suggestion, from a brilliant lab, by a very, very smart, perhaps brilliant, man,” Trump said. “He’s talking about sun, he’s talking about heat. And you see the numbers. So that’s it. That’s all I have. I’m just here to present talent. I’m here to present ideas. Because we want ideas to get rid of this thing.”
We're all waiting for the next episode of Donald Trump's new reality show. Don't forget, "A Very Stable Genius," a great read.

White house burns during Donald Trump fury

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2019 NEWS BYTES

The White House may burn...again

White House after Donald Trump implosion
The White House has been set on fire twice before: once when James Madison was president, second during Herbert Hoover's administration. The third burning is due soon but it won't necessarily be intentional like the other two. As Donald Trump begins to implode, which will include an excessive amount of friction with his staff, aides and the Cabinet, a fiery explosion from within is sure to happen. It's only a matter of time and here are the many reasons why...

As Brad Reed in RawStory puts it, "The dam starts to crack," referring to the Republicans who have been loyal to Donald Trump, but are now turning on him. In particular...
"Rep. James Comer (R-KY) has now told CNN’s Jim Sciutto that he believes Congress ought to investigate the White House’s use of a codeword-protected server to store President Donald Trump’s phone records."
The act of using these private servers to hide Trump material, in one instance, a NSC computer, have been deemed more impeachable than the information concealed. And remember what T-rump once said, he believes the Constitution lets him do “whatever I want as President.” Here's what Ralph Nader said in Common Dreams, published in AlterNet...
"In over two and a half years, Trump has been a serial violator of the Constitution, unmatched by any president in American history. Just about every day he is a constitutional outlaw."
There's more...
"Constitutional scholar Bruce Fein has documented twelve categories of major constitutional transgressions. Some are also statutory crimes. Many of these involve Trump overpowering the critical separation of powers that our founders rigorously established to assure that the president does not become a monarch like King George III."
Trump: The Constitution allows me to do anything I want to...

Among his other costitutional foibles, the Oval office lunatic "totally defies Congressional subpoenas for documents and witnesses. That grave overthrow of constitutional government is alone enough for eviction from office." And he lies, lies even more and then he lies again. If you can't believe anything the "supposed" president of the country you live in says, that alone should be grounds for impeachment.

Rory Cooper says in the Daily Beast, "We’ll Deserve What We Get if Republicans Can’t Say Trump’s Wrong." Some have come across now like Rep. James Comer (R-KY), who wants Congress to investigate Trump's use of a secret database to cover up his corruption. More will no doubt come forward when it becomes even more obvious that T-rump is going down. Here's Cooper's take...
"At best, President Trump used his office to seek personal and political gain and engage in 2016 conspiracy peddling with a strategic ally engaged in a war with Russia. At worse, Trump held back military aid to Ukraine in order to extract this personal and political gain. It’s a difference without a distinction when it comes to his fitness to serve."
And now there's a second whistleblower "who claims to have evidence of misconduct regarding the Internal revenue Service’s auditing of President Trump. According to this federal employee there were “inappropriate efforts to influence” the audit process. Trump has resisted releasing any tax returns since being elected and New York state investigators appear closest to breaking that wall of defense. What does he have to hide and just how bad is it?

David Cay Johnston on Trump perpetual tax corruption...

Here's the status...
"On August 8, Neal [House Ways and Means Chairman Richard Neal (D-MA)] sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin asking for communications between the IRS and Treasury employees who were involved in the agency’s audit of Trump and asked him to reply by August 13. It’s still not known if Mnuchin replied or not."
And finally, the whistleblower's lawyers are saying that Trump has endangered their client as the president publicly threatens "big consequences." It is a call to action by this moron of his double-digit troops who follow his lead, no matter what he tells them to do. Pure and simple it is more inciting of violence like he has done so many times in the past, like Charlottesville. One death and several injuries.

It may well come down to 'burn, baby, burn.'
